The Midwifery & Maternity Lab replicates a modern hospital labor room and neonatal care unit. This specialized lab is designed to train nursing and midwifery students to provide compassionate, safe, and expert care to mothers and newborns throughout pregnancy, labor, and the postnatal period.

• Advanced Birthing Simulators: Anatomical pelvic models and birthing manikins that simulate normal delivery, breech delivery, and obstetric complications.
• Fetal & Maternal Monitoring Tools: Fetal dopplers, Pinard stethoscopes, palpation models, and partograph charting tools.
• Neonatal Care Station: Infant resuscitation manikins, radiant warmers, mucus extractors, and newborn weighing scales.
• Antenatal & Postnatal Care Models: Breastfeeding practice models, episiotomy care trainers, and family planning demonstration kits.

Practical Learning Outcomes:
Students gain hands-on confidence in conducting antenatal checkups, monitoring labor progress using partographs, assisting in safe deliveries, performing neonatal resuscitation, managing postpartum hemorrhage (PPH), and providing infant care advice to mothers.
